The Grand Garden

The Grand Garden

The Garden Project is an innovative green infrastructure proposal comprising artificial oyster reefs and white-top pitcher plants lining the Grand Bay coast. Green infrastructure plays a crucial role in mitigating the adverse effects of human industries and safeguarding fragile ecosystems. This installation beckons both locals and visitors to immerse themselves in a vibrant ‘garden’ of oysters and pitcher plants actively restoring the ecosystem through filtration. It serves as a celebration of the visible integration of green infrastructure, offering a unique opportunity for the public to engage with and appreciate its transformative power
